Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Since the age of 13, Rosalia Vila has been active in pop music and flamenco. Also, she has explored other styles like hip-hop soul or Trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still with the bite of older singers. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist The follow-up album she released in 2018 El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit leading the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally receiving a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd and The Weeknd, came out in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd album that was full-length. It was a collection of collaborations writing songs with many artists and producers, including Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set was released following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to perform on the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first female to ever win both the award and Latin Grammy.
